We’ve had the opportunity and pleasure to help SEIU2105 on two occasions in partnership with Councilman David Ryu. Each time GMM donated a number of PPEs that were accepted with extreme gratitude. At our second donation event, we were able to demonstrate how important mask testing is by burning a mask!

GMM Co-Founder Henry Park did an actual test onsite with a couple of masks, which was pretty dramatic because SEIU2015 had just gotten a bunch of new masks and didn’t know if they were counterfeit or not. In fact, no one had even considered this until Henry enlightened them. Fortunately and to everyone’s pleasant surprise, the mask burning showed that GMM’s masks and SEIU2015’s masks where high quality. It was fun to capture the interaction on video, but more fun to add tremendous value to SEIU2015.

Leisure Court is a senior living provider in Anaheim, California that offers residents Nursing Homes. They had a hard time finding PPE as the usage and demand increased. Shelley Rockoff’s mother and uncle happened to be residents of the Nursing Home and she served as GMM’s bridge to help them during the pandemic. The donation of surgical and KN95 masks helped Leisure Court to protect the residents who are at risk and vulnerable to more serious Covid-19 conditions.
